Welcome to XgenPlus Support

XgenPlus Enterprise email solution provides an option to create multiple/manage folders, sub folders and nested Labels which helps to manage and organize E-mails/mailbox in an organized manner. Folder(s) help in categorizing the mails.

  1. Folder(s) in XgenPlus Email
    Steps to create a folder in XgenPlus Email
    • Login XgenPlus E-mail Account.
    • Click the Folder tab at the top right corner of the XgenPlus Dashboard.

    • Here, the user will get an option to create a Folder in Root where user can also Create Sub-folder by selecting the folder under which the sub folder has to be created. Type the desired Folder name & click on "Save" option.

    • Created Folder will be displayed in the left side of XgenPlus folders.

  2. How to Create Sub Folder
    XgenPlus allows user to create subfolder under main folder.
    Steps to create sub folder-
    • Select the 'Folder' option
    • Select the folder name in which you want to create sub folder.

    • Click on 'Save' option to save the created sub folder.

  3. How to move E-mails in Folder-
    Steps to Move Files in Folder-
    • Select Files which you want to move in the folder.
    • Select 'Move To' option to move files.
    • Select folder in which you want to move the files.

    • Click the folder and selected files will move to that folder.


    After the selection of desired folder, files get automatically move to the selected folder.
  4. How to Rename / Delete Folder

    User can Rename or Delete Folder by their choice in XgenPlus.
    Steps to Rename Folder-
    • Select the "Rename" option and enter the desired folder name.

    • Click on 'Save' option to save renamed folder.

    Steps to Delete Folder in XgenPlus

    • Select 'Folder' option at the top right corner of the XgenPlus Dashboard.

      Click on 'X' or delete option. By Clicking on the "Delete" option your Folder will be removed.
  5. How to Calculate Space Used By Each Folder

    User can calculate the space used by each folder and can manage folder accordingly. You can calculate by following these two steps-

    • Go to the 'Folder' Option.
    • Click on 'Calculate' option to see the spaced used by each folder.

    • By clicking on calculate option you can see the space used by each folder.

  6. How to Share Folder
    Click on Folders option on top, you will find the following features-
    • Sharing of folder- Click on the icon, you will be given the option to share the specific folder with specific user or all the users of that domain.

    • Alert- You will receive an Alert message when someone shares Folder with You.

    Share With All users-
    Select 'Share with All Users' option by which you can allow all users to see the

    Share with Specific or Selected User-

    If You Want To Share Folder with Specific User Then Select 'Share with User' option. With this feature, you can choose your desired users with whom you want to share Folder.

  7. How to Update and Allow Permission

    You Can Allow User for the Following Permission-

    Allow 'Delete' Permission for Mails- This permission allows user to delete the files.
    Allow 'Reply' Permission for Mails- Enable user to Reply e-mails.
    Allow 'Forward' Permission for Mails- user can forward the e-mails to another user

    You can update these by selecting Update option. User can give permission as per requirement.

  8. How to Unshare Folder

    If User Want to Unshare Folder Then User Can Click 'Mark Unshared Option' and the Folder will be unshared.
